Who do I drop for a 2nd Baseman?

I’m in a H2H, 10-team league. My 2nd baseman, Chone Figgins, just went on the DL. I need to drop someone to pick up a 2nd baseman. Who do I drop?

    If you don’t have anyone else already taking up your DL spot then you can just put Figgins in there and add someone else, the DL spot doesn’t count as an active roster space, so you shouldn’t have to drop anyone. As far as who to pick up, Theriot and Matsui have both been playing well, I would look to get either one of them. They both get steals and are having some good run support. Good luck.

    I agree with the guy above put him on the DL, but if not drop your worst pitcher you have like a 100 of them.

    I think the reason he wants to drop someone is because he wants to get some production out of his 2B slot rather than just leaving it empty.

    I would drop Pettitte or Buchholz. Both pitching have been inconsistent this year. Buchholz does make his next start against the Twins monday, so you may just want to wait a day and see how he does before you decide who you drop. Since you’re losing a bunch of steals with Figgins, I’d add Theriot. Theriot has been hitting for a great BA thus far, and he’s already stolen 8 bases. Even though he’s been caught quite a few times, he’s shown that he’s willing to run and he’ll be able to make up for the loss of SB’s.
